Summary

The Rogue Proloc 1 collars can be used on Olympic barbells and specialty bars. The super-strong Nylon build feels sturdy in the hand and the easy to tighten screw attachment makes for quick work when adding or removing the collar. The collars magnets also make it easy to attach the collars to your rack, storage unit, or any other piece of metal in your gym.

Pros

  • Strong Nylon Design.
  • Magnetically attaches to any metal in your gym.
  • Very strong grip.
  • Easy one-handed tightening screw adjustments.
  • Fits Olympic and Speciality Bars.

Cons

  • The screw is prone to stripping.

Rogue Proloc 1 Collars are made in the USA with the same type of precision we’ve come to expect from Rogue Fitness. Build with durable nylon plastic, the collars can be used on a standard Olympic bar, such as the Rogue Ohio Bar but also on specialty bars with a non-standard sleeve size, for example, the EliteFTS SS Yoke bar.

This is a mainstay in my gym, mainly for use with my Yoke bar. The Proloc collars offer an easy to apply slide on design that can be tightened using the attached knob. Once tightened down the grip is excellent.

The adjustable design of these very cool collars means they fit on sleeves ranging from 1.937″ to 2.007″ while guaranteeing a strong fit.

One of my favorite features for these collars is the ability to attach them directly to my Rogue Mass Storage unit thanks to build in magnets. Here’s how that looks:

The Rogue Proloc 1 collars feature a 2-year warranty against material defects and workmanship. Based on my testing, you won’t need the warranty but at the price point, it’s a nice option to have available.
