The Sorinex Flat Bench is a simple piece of gym equipment that has been welded together to provide a stronger single piece of steel. With a premium leather pad, it’s a decent option, especially if you operate a commercial gym or you just love the Sorinex brand.
Pros
- Solid frame.
- Premium Naugahyde leather pad.
- Grippy footpads.
- The support bar allows for resistance band use.
Cons
- No Wheels.
- Could be a bit wider.
If you’re in the market for a solid flat bench that will last a lifetime the Sorinex Flat Bench is a solid choice.
The bench is a simple design features 2″ x 2″, 11-gauge steel that forms a solid frame. While some benches arrive with bolt-together features, this is a more solid offering for anyone willing to spend about $100 more than the typical flat bench from Rep Fitness, Rogue Fitness, and others.
While we appreciate the solid frame, there are many other flat benches on the market that offer a grippier vinyl and a wider pad. We do like that Sorinex uses a premium Naugahyde leather for the pad, which means it will stand up to a lot of use.
We really like the grippy rubber footpads on the bottom of the bench. This assures your bench will remain in place, even if you shift around during a heavy lift.
Honestly, it’s not even in our top 10 flat benches for a garage gym. With that being said, if you own a commercial gym and are looking for something that will stand up to heavy traffic, this is an excellent option.
The bench measures 4-feet in length with an 18-inch height and 18″ back pad.
The Sorinex Flat Bench is definitely a premium offering and if you simply must have what they sell, we’re sure you’ll love it.
