Battle Ropes
Battle ropes, sometimes referred to as heavy ropes were invented around 2006 by John Brookfield. The ropes vary in length but are typically between 30 and 50 feet, on average. The ropes also feature various diameters but most commonly come in 1.5″ and 2″ options. Battle ropes feature various weights which increase the intensity of workouts. The ropes provide strength imbalances in the upper extremities while reducing orthopedic load on joints.
